Kakadu National Park

So this will be probably the last post about the great Australia as it has come to an end. Although I do love it here and plan to return in the future, perhaps for a work study, my plane leaves this evening and we just have a little get together planned before then and then its back to LA for me. I have been looking hard at my next step and I'll keep everyone who reads this thing in the know. Anywho thanks for checking out my travel blog, I'll be sure to update it again when my next destination is underway. Also I will be putting some Youtube videos on this a bit later, summing up cultural differences between the two places, so look forward to that.

Again, I hope you enjoyed the pics and comments, take care.

Aboriginal Paintings at Ubirr Rock.... most of them are tribal symbols that are passed down through multiple generations which is why most art (as with most cultural art) tends to have a similar theme. Learning some of these designs as a child is considered one of the many Aboriginal rights of passage.

In Australia there are no mountains.... only rocks.... lol

I wanted to have a picnic atop here...... pretty aint it?

Now, my camera isn't amazing, but that view is no matter how you look at it!

You probably can't see this, but yes, that is a croc in the river.... tripped me out to see one in the wild aye.

Gorgeous Darter Bird..... they have oil producing glands and can dive deep underwater continuosly

Kind of a multishot, but look close on the lillies, youll see a FATHER and her babies!

and Us at the top of ubirr rock, dont ask what happened to the bottom..... who knows

So yeah thats a bit of kakadu, but its definitely something you should set aside a couple days for.... not just 1!
